coconutStudio is an AI assistant built by an Algerian technology startup. It brings together chat, translation, and document understanding in a single, private interface.
We built it because we believe AI should be accessible, fast, and respectful of user data — without requiring a computer science degree to use.
What you can do
Multi-model chat. Ask questions, brainstorm ideas, or write long-form content. coconutStudio streams replies from a curated set of open and frontier models, so you can pick the one that fits the task.
Voice translation. Speak in one language and get a spoken or written translation in another. We optimized the translator mode for real conversations — not just word-by-word dictionary lookups.
Document understanding. Upload PDFs and text files to get grounded answers cited against your own content. No manual copy-pasting required.
Workspaces and memory. Organize chats into workspaces, keep per-user memory for context across sessions, and switch models on the fly.

coconutStudio runs on a stack of modern open-source and API infrastructure:

- Fireworks.ai for fast generative AI inference
- Firecrawl.dev to turn websites into clean, LLM-ready data
- NeonDB for serverless Postgres
- Chutes.ai for AI inference infrastructure
We also integrate with Tavily for live web search and use LangChain for orchestration.
Privacy first
Your conversations are not used to train models. We do not sell data. Google user data is only accessed via OAuth for sign-in, with the minimum scope required, and complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy.
